Minima Project Overview
Minima is a blockchain and peer-to-peer network designed to be accessible to as many people as possible because it is compact enough to run on mobile and IoT devices. It is complete, quantum-resistant and protected by each of its users.
The Minima network will allow people or devices to exchange value or information directly and securely, without third-party interference. Minima has no control center because each user — simply by downloading a mobile app — contributes to the network as an equal participant.
How did Minima become a fully decentralized network?
- Minima uses a scalable mobile native structure designed to empower people;
- A large number of distributed nodes is necessary to enable decentralization;
- For a network like this, the only device that makes it possible is a cell phone.
What makes Minima different from other blockchains?
All of the designs for Minima can be classified into three elements:
- Everyone builds the blockchain.
Every user has to participate in building the blockchain;
- No reliance on fees.
There should be no organization that gets paid to build the chain.
Everything must be finished;
- It must be finished.
Consensus-critical parts of the protocol should not require changes.
